When introducing the Ninja LT reel series, the manufacturers, considering the extremely frequent use of the Ninja reel in conjunction with Feeder-type rods, need models for bottom fishing with shallower drums. Engineers cut the reels completely by 10% and installed the Tough Digigear grit system, which was only available on higher caliber Daiwa reels. As a result, even smoother coil operation and a higher quality drive system are healthier. The integrated ATD brake system provides the coil with additional power reserves and lower frictional resistance. Reel brake adjustment has been made even faster and its power has been increased. For easier transport, the reel uses a "fast snap" folding handle. Reel Daiwa Ninja Match & Feeder soon became one of the most popular models for bottom fishing.
